LE Sirenuse

Sometimes, you stay somewhere so special that weaves its way into your heart, and has you yearning to return time and time again. This is one of those places, my favourite spot to stay on the Amalfi Coast, the iconic Le Sirenuse hotel.

It’s a luxurious blend of old world charm meets classic Italian design, where over the past 70 years, three generations of hoteliers have honed their craft, creating a haven for travellers to enjoy the delights of the Amalfi Coast in style.

It’s all in the details here. From the hand embroidered basket they loan you for your stay so you’ve got the perfect accessory to take your belongings to the pool, or off on a boating adventure for the day, to the crystal glassware and twice daily replenished ice bucket that will quench your thirst in the heat of the Italian summer, they know the nuances of their town so well and provide all that you will need to enjoy it.

It’s also the nostalgia of the fold out map that you receive in your welcome pack, inviting you to explore a little further afield whilst also romanticising about a time gone by, where life was a little slower and enjoyment was savoured. Life at Le SIrenuse invites you to slow right down and embrace the classics, like the cloth bound Steinbeck you’ll find on your bedside table.

And as for me, you’ll most likely find me at Aldo’s the hotel bar overlooking the stunning vertical city, and the sparkling sea of diamonds, revelling in the warm evening air and planning my return.
